Biography

Paul Francis Thorpe born London England 1968, was a natural born entertainer from an early age. At 15 Paul was already in demand as a singer and impressionist. He turned professional at the age of 21 and has never looked back. He has over 700 songs in his repertoire plus 200 songs from other famous singers and has performed over a staggering 6500 television, stage and theatre shows in his 15 year career.

In his adopted home of Spain, Paul is a big star and appears at all the major four and five star hotels, caberet venues for leading UK and European tour groups including Thompson, Airtours, Reisen and Tui. Paul is also a regular visitor to Europe, with Austria Germany, Holland, UK and Ireland as his biggest markets.

On a recent visit to the USA, Paul who performed to sell out audiences in Las Vegas, was gob-smacked when, on a visit to Graceland he was actually mobbed in the street by Elvis Presley fans asking for his autograph and insisting on having their photograph taken with him. No newcomer to television, Paul appeared on ITV's "The Time And Place" in 1993, and also "Stars In Their Eyes" in 1993 and 1997 when he went on to beat over 10,000 other contenders to win through to the finals. He was selected out of hundreds of applicants to appear live on GMTV's program "Who is king?" 5 times in one week! Polling an impressive 25% of the total vote from an audience of over 10 million. May 2004 Paul was the backbone of Granada TV's Taxi Nights which was filmed on location at venues in Manchester. With appearances on "Running Late" BBC TV's programme covering the XXIII Commonwealth Games covered live by BBC Television, a national European tour including, Austria, Holland, Budapest, Spain, Germany, The Channel Islands, UK, Northern and Southern Ireland with the TCB Band. With no less than seven albums, a variety of Pop, Elvis Presley, Country and even Rap, Paul is currently working on a album of original material looking to take advantage of his recent national UK TV exposure. The Howard Keel NSPCC Golf Classic/ Celebrity Cabaret 2004 saw Paul appearing alongside Don Felder (The Eagles) John Miles (Writer of "Music was my first love"). Paul only works the corporate markets, Stage, Theater or television, with an occasional personal appearance for friends. Since the start of this year Paul has based himself between the UK and Spain Concentrating on acting and studio recording. Although Paul has had great success around the World he feels it's time to work back home.
